Day 38

"and I am watching your chest rise and fall like the tides of my life
and the rest of it all. Your bones have been my bed frame and your flesh
has been my pillow and I have been waiting for sleep to offer up the deep with both hands."
~Ani Difranco.

Work has been crazy. Today was 7:30 till 8:45 with a one hour lunch break. I go in tomorrow at 7. Needless to say I'm exhausted, but the one thing I look forward to is this portrait. Once I pull the lens cap off, I can let it all out. It's like my evening therapy session.

I warmed my black and whites a little, and I think it pays off. Flat black and white is less warm and when reflecting human skin, I like it warmer. So there you have it.
